The melted shades of periwinkle, cerulean, lavender, and mossy chartreuse, make the perfect contrast to the distinct sections of black that in some areas have little pops of color shining through, which is one of my favorite design elements in a colorway! With this luxe feel, I feel like it would be hard to not get an instant confidence boost when wearing anything out of Black Tie. I’d love to know what y’all think about this sort of dye style! Any thoughts on the way it works up?!
Inspired by Cora, “the American” 😆 who brought a sense of refined casual fits to Downton as well as show herself to be advocate for new ways of thinking - including modifications to traditional dinner attire. Who knew that what was considered then to be (in the words of Lady Violet) the attire of waiters - would today would be considered the height of elegance.
