Where our yarn comes from

Our yarn and most materials are carefully selected from around the world! It is sourced from one country and milled in another to ensure the utmost quality. To name a few: Australia, Argentina, South Africa, Uruguay and Italy. The fibers in ALL bases come from farms that follow mulesing-free practices.

How to care for our yarns

  1. Hand wash gently: Fill a basin with cold water and your favorite wool wash. Submerge the yarn, and avoid any twisting or agitation. Even though we strive for our yarn to be as dye-fast as possible, our darker colors may bleed slightly in the first few washes. For a project that mixes dark and light colors, we recommend using a color catcher just to be safe.

  2. After soaking for 15-20 minutes, gently squeeze out the water and lay the project on a towel. Roll it up to remove excess moisture by pressing, NOT by wringing it out. Then if desired, shape and pin it in place on a blocking mat to dry.

  3. I hope this helps y'all keep your heirloom pieces looking beautiful and fresh after each wash!

The Nature of Hand Dyed Yarn

Each skein is a piece of art, hand dyed by me, in small batches! I love to use complex speckling and blending techniques with my colorways. Because of this, each skein is beautifully unique, which is why carefully selecting similar dye lots for shipping is such a priority for me and my team!

Additionally, some colorways are harder to photograph due to the nuances of layers, but my perfectionist personality (usually haha) ensures you see the most accurate representation of color possible, however, slight variations are to be expected from monitor to monitor. (e.g. phone, computer, etc.)

Ever wonder why our yarn smells so good?!

We use a special wool wash in our process that delicately cleanses the fibers and applies our well known signature scent to our yarn! We have received amazing feedback for the added luxury it brings which makes me happy to know this enhances the making process as well as ensures the highest quality of colorfastness.

Questions about your order?

Please email us with any questions you might have, as DMs on Instagram tend to get lost. You can also use our contact page. We will do our best to respond within 5-8 business days, but please have patience with us during busy seasons.

Size Inclusive Policy

We will happily refund 10% on any order of 8+ skeins of the same colorway on the same base. After you purchase, please email us before your order ships, so we can refund you!

Our size inclusive discount cannot be combined with our Speckles Rewards Discounts.

Combining Orders

If you would like to combine orders and save on shipping, please email us your order numbers within 24hrs of your purchase, and we will be happy to do that for any US orders!

We are happy to merge all US orders and refund any shipping overages exceeding $5. The only time we do not merge orders is when they are not part of the same collection or will be shipped internationally. Keep in mind that if you redeemed speckles for a discount, it will only apply to the order it was actually used for.

For example: if Order 1 contains pre-order yarn, order 2 contains ready to ship yarn, order 3 contains a specialty box - none of these can be combined.
