VIEW BETWEEN VILLAGES 🏘️ a past one-of-a-kind reimagined into this cozy, lived-in shade of dusty umber, lavender, and so much more, that is full of nuance just like the song that brought it to life. ✨

It’s no secret that some of my best colorways have happened because of the songs I was listening to when I created them, and even though a version of this colorway (hello Satin!) came out at the beginning of the year, I still remember the Noah Kahan playlist that started it all.

The second I saw it on the drying racks, I knew I had made something special, but it felt hopeless to add it into the shop at the time because the dyes used were so temperamental. But since then I’ve learned so much more and decided I was gonna make it happen without relying on that crazy dye, and start from scratch. So countless hours later of trying to re-create it, and I landed on this straight up magic, that I’m just so incredibly proud of, that is naturally my favorite in the whole collection. 🥹

The base consists of tawny brown, rosewood pink, periwinkle, and olive green - which still blows my mind that was the winning formula, but just peek those layersss.😍 ahh they just make my heart so happy, and the speckles of salmon, ochre, seafoam, and eggplant truly put it over the edge imo.

“The things that I lost here, the people I knew - They got me surrounded for a mile or two” is still my favorite line, from my favorite Noah Kahan song. I love that he sings with such raw emotion that still gets me every time, as he describes the pain of going back home and re-awakening the past. 💔❤️🩹
