🎨 Bases & Dyer Notes

A NOTE FROM THE DYER: please keep in mind that you are purchasing a piece of art, hand dyed by me, in small batches. I love to use complex speckling and blending techniques with my colorways. because of this, each skein is beautifully unique, which is why carefully selecting similar dye lots for shipping is such a priority for me and my team! 

Additionally, some colorways are harder to photograph due to the nuances of layers, but my perfectionist personality (usually haha) ensures you see the most accurate representation of color possible, however, slight variations are to be expected from monitor to monitor. (e.g. phone, computer, etc.)

 All of our yarn is taken through a thorough washing process with our signature scented wool wash!

I have no other option but to yap forever about how obsessed I am with this colorway, and all its layers! This all-over speckled beauty features a cool toned gold, earthy mauve, AND (my faveee) foggy grey sections - as the predominant hues with so many speckles of aqua, emerald, chestnut brown, and bright plum that just make me so happy because they complement the palette so well!!! ⁠

The inspo is a phrase I see popping up everywhere, and each time I see it I can’t help but let it brighten my day a bit. I feel like it’s all about romanticizing your day-to-day life and seeing the beauty in each seemingly small moment. For me, that’s looking at my favorite travel spots while dreaming of the next adventure, watching the rain fall as I look out at the city, and listening to a saved podcast episode that tbh usually has a charismatic host with infectious energy. 😆 Or let’s be real, crafting a playlist full of my theme songs that always leave me feeling empowered. ⁠
