🎨 Bases & Dyer Notes

A NOTE FROM THE DYER: please keep in mind that you are purchasing a piece of art, hand dyed by me, in small batches. I love to use complex speckling and blending techniques with my colorways. because of this, each skein is beautifully unique, which is why carefully selecting similar dye lots for shipping is such a priority for me and my team! 

Additionally, some colorways are harder to photograph due to the nuances of layers, but my perfectionist personality (usually haha) ensures you see the most accurate representation of color possible, however, slight variations are to be expected from monitor to monitor. (e.g. phone, computer, etc.)

 All of our yarn is taken through a thorough washing process with our signature scented wool wash!

WE LIKE STRONG WOMEN HERE 💪🏻👩‍💼 one of my fave quotes from the show, that just had to reflected in this empowering shade of dusty plum!! ⁠

My favorite part of this colorway is the stonewashed mushroom taupe, which makes it so effortlessly wearable, while still having the excitement of so many pops of colors - ranging anywhere from raspberry red, Barbie-core pink, burnt henna speckles, cornflower blue, bright berry purple, and a “not afraid to be heard” lime green!!! ⁠

Despite each one of these women being raised in a life of luxury, they each showed that they have real grit - in their own ways. When selecting photos for this colorway, I wanted to find a key moment for each sister. Sybil in her suffragette era fighting for women to get the vote, Edith coming into the role as editor and chief of a newspaper in London, and Mary eventually running the estate (and finally caring enough to do whatever it takes 😂) ⁠
