Our Summer Refresh launches Friday, August 14th at 6pm ET and includes Handwoven Artisan Baskets, Party Dress, Hopscotch 20g Minis, our once-a-year Mystery Pack Sale, and Tuft Woolens Hand Balms.

When will my Summer Refresh order ship?

To help us get through the initial rush of orders, processing will begin at 5–10 business days.

Everything in the update is already made and in stock, so this processing time is simply the time our team needs to pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.

Once we’re through the initial launch rush, our processing timeframe will return to a shorter window.

HANDWOVEN ARTISAN BASKETS

How many basket styles are available?

There are 6 different basket styles, ranging in size from smaller stowaway options to larger statement baskets.

Each basket is handmade by women artisans in Ghana and has its own unique patterning, color story, and personality, so no two baskets will be exactly alike.

Each basket in this update was also individually hand-picked by me from our supplier!

Can I choose the exact basket I receive?

Rather than listing every basket individually, you’ll choose between warm or cool tones, and our team will hand-select a basket that we feel best fits that category.

For example, a mostly natural basket with pops of pink, orange, and green would generally fall into the warm category, while a basket featuring mostly blue and green with a pop of pink would generally be considered cool.

Can I request specific colors?

Yes! You’re welcome to leave an order note letting us know any colors you especially love or would prefer to avoid.

Because every basket is unique, we cannot guarantee a particular color, pattern, or combination, but we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences when selecting your basket.

Why does my basket arrive flat?

Baskets are shipped flattened to help protect them and make shipping easier.

Your basket will need to be reshaped once it arrives, and an instruction card with shaping directions will be included with every basket order.

Will my basket ship separately?

Most baskets will ship separately in more durable mailers to help protect both the basket and any yarn in your order during transit. Stowaway, Studio, and Stationery baskets are the exception and will usually be able to ship alongside yarn orders.

If your basket can safely and easily ship with the rest of your order, we’ll combine the shipment and refund the extra shipping cost. Basket-only orders will also be combined, so if checkout charges you for multiple shipping labels, we’ll refund the extra shipping cost when those baskets ship together.

Can I combine multiple orders?

Yes! We’ll begin merging orders 2–3 business days after the update as we prepare them for shipment. If we’re able to combine your orders, we’ll refund any shipping overage above $5.

If you would prefer that your orders not be merged, please email us as soon as possible after ordering.

Because larger baskets need extra protection during shipping and could smash or compress yarn if everything is packed too tightly together, we’ll only combine them with yarn or other items when everything fits safely and easily in the same package.

Stowaway, Studio, and Stationery baskets will usually ship alongside yarn orders, while larger basket styles will generally ship separately in more durable mailers. Basket-only orders will be combined whenever possible.

Can I use my Speckles Rewards discount?

Speckles Rewards discounts can be used on Party Dress and our other full skeins, but some items in the Summer Refresh are excluded.

Rewards discounts cannot be applied to minis due to their extensive processing time, haberdashery items such as baskets and hand balms, or sale items that are already discounted, including Mystery Packs.

If your order includes both eligible and excluded items, your discount will apply only to the eligible products.

MYSTERY PACKS

What comes in a Mystery Pack?

Each Mystery Pack contains 4 full-size skeins that have been hand-picked and curated by our team to create a cohesive combination of colors.

Every pack also includes a speckled one of a kind, many of which I dyed specifically for this update.

Mystery Packs start at $96 for 4 skeins, regularly $120 — 20% off 

What kinds of yarn may be included?

Mystery Packs may include:

• Extras from past collections
• One of a kind colorways
• Prototype dye experiments
• Skeins with additional variation from dye breaks or tight ties
• Extras from collections such as I Wanna Go to Maine and The French Edit

These are skeins that may not have made the cut for their original collection but are still beautiful, usable yarns that we’ve curated into special color combos.

Can I choose my Mystery Pack?

Mystery Packs are available in warm and cool toned options.

We also created new one of a kinds specifically for this update, including pink and yellow variations for the warm packs and blue and purple variations for the cool packs.

Can I request certain colors in my Mystery Pack?

Absolutely! Leave a note with your order letting us know if there are colors you would prefer not to receive or a particular shade or colorway you’re crossing your fingers for.

We can’t guarantee specific colors or colorways, but your notes help us choose a pack we think you’ll love.

THE FRENCH EDIT

Can I still order French Edit colors Dyed to Order?

No. The Dyed to Order option for The French Edit has now closed.

We’re finishing the final French Edit restocks over the next few weeks. After those restocks, remaining colors and bases will be available while supplies last as we transition into our next collection.

Our next collection is coming mid-September.
