Introducing "Cathedral Portal" - Inspired by the intricate detailing of this Cathedral (swipe to see) in Cadiz. I love how this colorway captures the essence of grandeur and artistic beauty displayed at this historic scene.
This colorway is definitely not my typical style, but I think it turned out perfect, and would look amazing in a late-summer/autumn project!
It showcases a stunning combination of mahogany, and chestnut, with hints of moss green, and claret red, coated with splashes of eggplant throughout. Cathedral Portal reflects the mesmerizing façade of the Cadiz Cathedral, particularly the massive portals (doors). Just like the intricate stone carvings and sculpted statues that adorn the exterior, this colorway adds a touch of elegance and coziness to your knitting and crochet projects.
For the full traditional styled experience, pair with its complementary tonal: Baroque, a tonal inspired by the architecture of the cathedral. Together, these shades echo the grandeur and history of this iconic structure. Also consider getting the sock set to work with both!
Looking for a contrasting touch? Pair Cathedral Portal with Daydream or Luminaire to add a pop of color and create a visually striking effect in your projects. Cathedral Portal is also available in a 20g mini set, featuring other speckled colorways from the Yarn-ary Islands Collection, and in a sock set with Baroque.
